Marketing Insights from SCC:  Canvas Integration

We are excited to offer SCC’s curriculum in a format that can be imported into Canvas!

The files are available in a “common cartridge” format, which is available to download below, along with instructions for downloading and importing.  Please be sure to watch the video with directions first.  It should be pretty straightforward if you follow the step-by-step instructions so please view the directions before attempting to import the files into your Canvas.

As March ends, consumers often see announcements from brands about new product launches that might seem outrageous. Often, that is the goal, and the new product isn’t even real, but the brand capitalizes on the publicity generated by the stunt, which is nothing more than an April Fool’s prank.

      Which brands are most popular at Thanksgiving?  To help engage your students in a valuable marketing discussion leading up to Thanksgiving, we have a presentation deck for you to use in class.

      A Houston Chronicle story reported that much of what we celebrate on Thanksgiving is the direct result of marketing.  Today, thanks to effective positioning strategies, some brands have become synonymous with Thanksgiving feasts and consumers fill their shopping carts with these products every year.
