Sports Marketing & Careers Expo at the University of Oregon

Over 400 Oregon DECA students participated in our fourth annual conference on October 5th, 2007. The event, graciously hosted by the University of Oregon’s Warsaw Sports Marketing Center, focused on sports marketing and sports business career opportunities. Larry Miller, President of the Portland Trail Blazers, was the featured keynote and welcomed the group in the morning session. Students then participated in breakout sessions, featuring workshops presented by the Warsaw Center, Portland Beavers & Timbers, Brand Jordan and Action Sports Media.  In the afternoon session, students had an exciting opportunity to tour the University of Oregon’s campus and athletic facilities, widely regarded as one of the nation’s finest!
