SCC Sports Business Program (SBP)

What better way to learn about sports business than learning to operate your school’s athletic department under the same model used by collegiate athletic departments and professional teams and organizations across the nation? SCC’s Sports Business Program (SBP) provides just that. In addition to providing “real world” educational experiences for students at your school, the Sports Business Program will enhance the athletic experience for your student athletes and provide even more entertainment for your fans and supporters. On top of all this, the increased revenue generated from the Sports Business Program will be funneled back into school education programs and the athletic department!

The program is NOT limited to simply focusing on school sports. You and your students could help promote school entertainment (school play) or come up with an event on your own (dodgeball tournament). Whatever you decide, you will create an exceptional educational platform that gives students valuable work experience, all while raising significant funding for your program!

SCC Education Resource Center (ERC)

The Education Resource Center (ERC) is an online subscription based program that provides all the resources necessary for teaching sports and entertainment marketing at your school. From extensive curriculum material and engaging PowerPoint slides to class discussion topics, case studies, weekly links to current events and project ideas, the ERC offers teachers an easy and comprehensive solution to all your teaching needs.

SCC Special Events

One of SCC’s most exciting services is an event management component. At our events, students have an opportunity to learn about the many types of jobs available in sports and network with industry executives from many local teams and sports organizations. Our events, typically staged on college campuses, often involve tours of athletic facilities and a glimpse of campus life.
